Ties and Plaques
36 Regiment Syrena Tie
The Tie is Navy Blue with Red symbols depicting the Maid of Warsaw woven
diagonally across it. The latter was the formation sign of 2nd Polish Corps during the
Italian Campaign in 1944, and the right to wear it was granted to several Armoured Corps
and Gunner units and the Army Air Corps Flights, in recognition of their outstanding action
whilst under command 2nd Polish Corps. Amongst those eligible are members and former
members of 36 and 37 Regiments, and 10 (Assaye) and 111 (Dragon) Batteries.
Many have asked if we could produce a 36 Regiment Plaque and a Syrena Tie.
We are now able to do this and they are available to purchase direct or at the next Reunion

the Royal Artillery said Farewell to the Garrison.
