Important Announcement
Appeal

To all past members of 36 Regiment and Visitors to the 36 Websites. Since 2001 when I first
launched the 36 Regiment Website and it's Satellite sites we have grown to be one of the Largest
and most viewed Regimental Websites on the Internet.

Because of the popularity of the Websites and the way they
have grown it has annually put the cost up of running the Websites? With the exception of
one year I have born the cost of running the 36 Websites. Sadly I am now in a position because of the
increase in Fee's for hosting etc to either dramatically scale down the Websites or in the extreme
remove them.

I would like to Appeal to you if possible to make a small Donation towards the upkeep and
long term future of the 36 Regiment Websites on the Internet.

I can guarantee that any Donations will solely be used in the maintainece and upkeep of our Websites.
I would like in advance to thank anyone for their generosity who is able to help in keeping the spirit of the
Regiment alive in this way. I will publish all Donation received on the Website.

Thank you for your time

Eyes Front

Welcome to our Web site. You have found the site that is dedicated to all who
served in, or were associated with the Biggest and we think the Best Regiment
that was in service in the Royal Regiment of Artillery.

36 Heavy Air Defence Regiment was put into Suspended Animation on
the 31st December 1977, and since then, the spirit of the Regiment has
been carried on by Annual Reunions.

These Reunions had been held at the University of East Anglia in Norwich,
and were organised by Brian and Jan Greenland, and after the sad passing
of Brian, by Jan herself. Since 2002 the Reunions have been organised
by Reunion Secretary Paul Barber with help from
Keith (Monty) Houldey and Myself.

We look forward to receiving your photos and stories. Please navigate
around the site and find out about future Reunion's, the History of the
Regiment and its Batteries, the Thunderbird Missile System, and lots more.

Please sign our Guestbook we are interested to hear what you think,
or Post a message or query on our  Message Forum,
renew old friendships, and make new one's.

We hope you find our Web site interesting and informative.

"A moth eaten rag, on a worm eaten pole, doesn't seem likely to stir a man's sole.
But it's the deeds that were done beneath that moth eaten rag,
when that pole was a staff, and that rag a battle flag"

Rules of Engagement

This is an unofficial military web site.

This site serves as a Reunion and Information site for my old Regiment. It enables ex members of  36 Regiment to
renew links and keep in touch.  It's my site with my views and opinions and doesn't reflect Army policy or doctrine.
The photo's are mine or have been sent by friends. The camaraderie, spirit de corps, and pride is what commanders
from since the dawn of time have tried to instill and desired from their troops.

If anyone would like to use any images on this web site, please e-mail me.
