Regimental Structure
36 Heavy Air Defence Regiment was made up from the
following elements.

HQ Troop

HQ Troop was made up of the following:

RHQ: CO, 21C, ADJ, Ass ADJ, QM Tech, QM Admin, RSM, Padre, Pmr,
OC Recruiting Team,  
RA Clerks, Post Room, Pay Corps, WRVS and Regt MT.

10 (Assaye) Battery RA

10 Battery was made up of the following:

A Troop (Tactical Control)
 B and C Troops (Firing Troops)

BC, BK, A, B, & C Troop Commanders & TSM's, TIG and BSM.


111 (Dragon) Battery RA

Dragon Battery was made up of the following:

D Troop (Tactical Control)
E and F Troops (Firing Troops)

BC, BK, D, E, & F Troop Commanders & TSM's, TIG and BSM.

260 Signal Squadron (SAM)

260 supplied communications for the Regiment whilst in the field.

36 REME Workshops

REME Craftsmen and Technicians serviced and repaired the
Regiment's Vehicle's, Missile and Radar Equipment.

7 GM Coy RAOC
Based at Wulfen

RAOC were responsible for preparing the Regiment's Missiles,
and for maintaining and supplying the Regiment
with Fuel and Equipment in the field.
