This web site is dedicated to all past members of the
Royal Artillery Recruiting / Display Troop
Please keep checking this website as it will be
updated on a regular basis.
As a past member of the RA Recruiting Troop, serving from January 1971
until October 1974, and also from 1983 until 2003 as the Secretary of the
RA Recruiting Troop Reunion, it was felt that it was about time that we had our
own presence on the world wide web.
Since our first Reunion which was held at Woolwich in January 1984,
we have grown to over 230 members, and with many now having access to
the Internet. Since that time we have had some fantastic Reunions in
various locations, for example: Woolwich, Hull, Southend on Sea and Derby.
We also held a Mini-Reunion in Pembroke in October 1997.We have had very
successful Reunion's at Walsall in 2008 and 2009.
Any ex members of the Troop, or indeed anyone who is just passing through
can contribute by sending me their memories, stories and pictures of their times
with the Displays or the MCDT, and I will update the site.
You will also be able to contact old friends by using the Trace a Mate page,
so if you are on the Internet please let me have your updated e-mail address
and contact information.
Please sign our Guest Book and tell us what you think of the site.
You can go to our ever popular Links Page and connect to some interesting sites.
If you have found us on purpose or by accident, you are most welcome to our web site.
We thank everyone for their good wishes, and are very grateful to all who have
signed our Guest Book and have linked us up to their own web sites.
We would also like to thank the Royal Artillery Display Troop
for their support and assistance.
I hope you find our site interesting and informative.
Please call back from time to time.
Regards
Keith Holderness
